FESTI

In partnership with FESTI, we offer a full-service training program to certify first-responders, equipment operators and other professions to meet NFPA industry standards for fire and emergency response. FESTI (Fire and Emergency Services Training Institute) is a private career college affiliated with the Greater Toronto Airports Authority’s fully operational fire service at Toronto Pearson International Airport, providing world-class practical and theoretical training with state-of-the-art facilities and live-fire props.

FESTI delivers structured, standards-based training across three core domains:

• Firefighter Development
  Entry-level and advanced firefighter training, including NFPA 1001 Firefighter I–II (in-house and blended delivery), foundational skills, and practical field readiness.
• Emergency Services & Specialist Training
  Professional development for emergency service personnel, covering fire officer leadership, fire inspection (NFPA 1031), prevention and investigation, technical rescue, airport-related operations, hazardous materials (HazMat), medical response, and security personnel training.
• Corporate, Health & Safety Training
  Occupational health and safety programs, including Red Cross First Aid, CPR-C with AED, fire extinguisher use, confined space operations, leadership development, and team-based training for corporate and industrial environments.

Purpose-built facilities, including ARFF aircraft mock-ups and advanced rescue environments, ensure responders are trained to operate safely, decisively, and in full compliance across structural, industrial, airport, and corporate settings.
